55 W/Mo UW farming ......
ok this build is stupid i know and its everything a warrior shuoldnt be but it works, which is good enough for me. I know a ton of you are against 55 warrior builds so i expect to get flammed but please keep it to a minimum. this MIGHT have been posted before since im new to teh forums im not positive.
Its pretty amazing that this build does not have an elite, ro well no elite required
Anyways Attributes
Tactics:12+3+1
Protection:9
Healing:9
Sword: All Remaining Points
Skills
Bottenis Defense
Deadly Riposte
Riposte
Protective Spirit
Mending
Balthazars Spirit
Vigiourous Spirit(Not essential I take this incase healing breeze gets interupted though and its a nice skill, I sometimes replace this with Fear Me! to help against smites, or sometimes Gladiators Defense)
Healing Breeze
This build is straightforward and only took me about 3-5 tries to get it right. Its also very tedious.Basically you start off by casting Mending, then waiting for your energy to regen entirely. Then cast Balthazars Spirit. Right befor eyou aggro some Axates just cast Vigiourous Spirit, once they get close to you use prot spirit. Use Healing breeze if fighting more than 2 axates or if you think you need it. Use Bottenis whenever possible for energy and also to help protect yourself from interupts.
After the battle has started and you ahve been whacking try to use the ripostes when you do not have much to do. They are your only attack skills. ALso use them when you are chain casting. If you have to cast prot spirit and breeze consecutively use your ripostes to block potential disrupting chops. You basically just keep your defenses up and riposte till err well a long time, this build is not TOO efective.
If you run into dying nightmares , as long as there is only one just use a monk wand that is customized to kill it before it rends. IF there are two i suggest you to run. I personally used a customized refugee to get the job done.
Next the Grasping Darkness. For these I honesly just get out my real armour and then just hit them and use ripostes, along with my energy management skills. If you cant kill these well something definately is wrong. Or if you want you can use 55 and of course kill them also i just find it fun to switch back to REAL armour sometimes.
Ok now for the Smite Crawlers you basically keep your defs up at all time and just use ripostes as much as you can. I find these very easy to be honest and well yeah, it just takes a while. Their reversal of fortune is quite annoying so i sometimes take fear me instead of vigiourous spirit to sap energy.
Between fights unless you have high energy you will have to switch offf balthazars spirit, wait for regen with one pip, switch it back on when full energy, then fight. Which i have to admit is pretty boring.
This build has VERY minoir problems on energy management actually.
Well this is about it for the guide please don't flame me too much and well ahve fun i guess. THis build can take 4 axates max i believe i dont think ill try anymore since it takes WAY too long with just ripostes. THis build should not take more than 5 smites at a time, the less the better since ripostes do more concentrated damage. I personally pefer groups of 3. I have done this with a ss/br necro and it worked pretty nicely. I am NOT saying this is better than a 55 soj monk since it probably isnt or any 55 monk or necro or mesmer or whatever, Im just saying this works and you can try it out.

Please READ my ENTIRE post before you post comments, I specifically stated tha 55monks were probably better and this tbuild is just fun for r change of pace or if you have a warrior. Also since Sup warrior runes are very cheap almost anyone can do this.

hmmmm, not too shabby, nicely done you explain why everything is up there because if i just saw the skills, i would've just said no to this.
But what would be kind of need would be a superior rune of absorption if you can afford it that is. And maybe shielding hands if you can fit it in the skills. But these looks great.

Its a 55 monk build so sup absorb would make your health 130, and absorbtion does nothing
Healing Hands is a skill i was toying with and it makes the run easier but unforutnately it only lasts 10 secs, It also makes runs at smites take signifacantly slower but then again safer

Hey uuum, I never recalled of super absorbtion giving you health. It just subtracts 3 damage...
But healing hands is a great on though, I also with healing seed could work on yourself no on target OTHER ally.

the problem is sup absorbtion DOES NOT subtract health =P
All 55 builds you use sup runes that subtract your health by 75
also absorbtion is absolutely useless in this build
Healing Hands, I acknowledged would make surviving a ton easier

How do you deal with the Ripostes that the Attaxes use against you?

the aatxes arent much of a problem indeed, its those pesky nightmares, i can never kill em fast enough for them not to rend. what kind of wand should i have for them to drop fast enough?
